Remember those pre-Internet days when you could walk into a used-games shop and buy a cartridge based totally on your impression of the label art?

Fantasy Zone was one of those titles for me -- a pleasant surprise when I got home, something refreshing and different from the usual inundation of generic license platformers and arcade port rehashes.

And it still stands today, honestly.
